This was the first Space I’ve joined so I was laughing when one of the hosts said “help I’m old, is this video?” bc honestly I wasn’t sure either lol. I enjoyed listening & with everything going on appreciate the sense of ‘community’ 🥹
If I were a non cult type religious person I would be so angry that these clowns are ruining it for people, making all religions look bad.

My hairdresser was Q and now she’s following trumps former pastor & fasting etc 🫤 but what I found out recently was that she was brought up in a household where their pastor spoke in tongues etc. That explained a lot for me sadly.
I am agnostic but I'm deeply concerned about some of my churchgoing friends who need to know about this invading threat to their community.
I'm going on a cruise with one friend soon so I'm thankful to be able to know some of the names of newly influential people who could drag their churches into this cult.
Knowledge is power but also a burden, I've discovered.
I feel helpless having so much knowledge about what could become impending doom, yet not being able to do anything about it and being looked at like I'm crazy when I repeat truths that aren't "on the news".
First thing people ask is, where did you get that from?

Am I the only one who has trouble feeling credible to others?
My aunt called to have me review a pm Christian radio hour that is her only source of info, she is deeply superstitious religious and always has been very sweet. Right now this person is filling her up with the school rhetoric nonsense about litter boxes and bad books. I was able to appeal to her without antagonizing her sense of spirituality to hear me out and she agrees that she does not really believe me and her other relatives are *satanic pedophiles* for being liberal. Now I'm supposed to go sit with her and teach her factchecking, I'm giving her a donated computer which I've set up specifically for her. I'm not sure how this ends yet but it's something. Everyone reach out to your older relatives, especially if they are more religious, and be prepared to hear them out and *patiently* (because the right wing rhetoric they are fed is maddening) not dismissively address each of their concerns with facts. Maybe they listen, maybe I lose another person from my life to the indoctrination and programming, but we've got to keep trying, they will ideally tell others like them
